Byfield commissioned the Big Bang report,  research into the Legal Services Act, in November 2009. The report was launched at a seminar discussion hosted by Fox Williams LLP which attracted more than 90 delegates and resulted in a lively debate.   Press coverage of the report included The Times, City AM, Legal Business and The Law Society Gazette and the report is still being referred to as one of the most accessible and informative guides to the opportunities and threats presented by the Legal Services Act.
